Cinque Terre, Italy

Travelling by train through the five villages of Cinque Terre was a unique experience. Brightly coloured houses clinging to cliffs made for great photographs.  Being accompanied by three female photographers made it a fun trip....we even had time to sample the local food and wine not to mention Italian ice cream !!  These pictures were taken in Spring 2016.

Tuscany, Italy

I was lucky to travel to Tuscany for the first time in May 2019 and I was not disappointed ! The temperatures had not reached the Summer highs so the vegetation was still green and lush. Those Cypress trees ! So typical of the region and so stunning ! Some locations were packed with photographers especially for sunset…unfortunately there are very few secret destinations anymore. It was all beautiful and so worth the very early starts.
